Taxpayers Against Poverty (TAP) is a grassroots advocacy organisation dedicated to addressing poverty and inequality in the UK. Our mission is to promote fair taxation, affordable housing, and adequate social welfare, ensuring that no one is left behind in our society. This means proposing and promoting economic policies that will have direct effect on resolving poverty and inequality.
There are many excellent campaigning groups who do valuable and complementary work on poverty and inequality. To help us in our collective endeavours we have chosen some like-minded groups as partners so that we can amplify each other’s work. This relationship is mutually beneficial and each partner signs a simple agreement on what we expect from each other.
