1000 MOTHERS MARCH FOR JUSTICE - 13TH APRIL -
THE 1000 MOTHERS MARCH FOR JUSTICE
SATURDAY 13TH APRIL - ASSEMBLE 11 am TOTTENHAM TOWN HALL
MARCH UP TOTTENHAM HIGH ROAD TO NORTHUMBERLAND PARK SCHOOL
NEAREST TUBE - SEVEN SISTERS
The march is a heartfelt demonstration against the coalition's deeply unfair deficit reduction policies. We aim to gain support for the campaign against those policies and for fairer policies.
We also plan to keep up the campaign for affordable housing, rent controls, the living wage, benefits linked to prices, and justice for disabled people after the 1000 MOTHERS MARCH FOR JUSTICE on 13th April.
Mothers are at the heart of the campaign because they carry a double burden, for themselves and for their children, of the financial hardship imposed by the coalition .
We have a very powerful case against the housing benefit caps, the cuts and the council tax and another very powerful case for an affordable housing policy, for rent controls, for the living wage, for benefits linked to prices of food, fuel and other necessities and for full rights and benefits for disabled people,
We will be joined by a Samba Band on the march. If anyone knows any other bands who could join us please ask them to do that.
I am attaching the Post Cards and the Flyers we are distributing.
